SECURITY OFFICER (OPEN) (MARYLAND) (Frontline Officer) $52,000 per year Providing you work 40 hours per week for 52 weeks. Current positions are part-time and on call at will positions. Duties: Physical security, outer perimeter executive security protection, marked vehicle patrols, bike patrols, foot patrols, entry control. Frontline Officers work assignments as designated by command based on the needs of Public Security LLC. Frontline Officers work high risk assignments throughout the state. Although Frontline Officers are private security, many posts are very similar to working as a Correctional Officer, Park Ranger, Code Enforcement, bodyguard, police and a member of the military. Starting June 1st 2024, all Maryland Security Officers will be required to have the mandated 12 hour training certification. Security Officers that are already active will be required to show proof of 8 hour certification training prior to their license expiring or they will not be relicensed once expired. If selected for further processing you will then be fingerprinted and have your application for Maryland State Police done and ready to reviewed by Public Security management. Once your application has been reviewed by our staff, applicants are required to mail in their completed fingerprints and application to the Maryland State Police and retain proof of correspondence. A community church in Hyattsville, Maryland had become victim to robberies when they gave free gifts to their parishioners during the holiday season.
